Not exactly what I expected

Durable, Easy to Install, Easy to Use, Stable

Doesn't use car's anchors

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The rack is supposedly made just for the Audi TT, but it doesn't use the car's anchor points. Instead, it hooks over the lip of the door frame, which causes considerable wind noise and may, over time, compromise the gasket at the top of the door.
Unfortunately, it's the only product I've found that fits a TT. Audi doesn't seem to have anything that uses the anchors either.

Good and solid construction and execution of the product. My only concern was with the instructions that came with the product - they do not match up with reality of the installation, but were useful as reference point.

Passengers might hit head, Probably will scratch car, Seems a little wide
The tightening process is a little frustrating when you are adding the rack yourself. Must tighten one side 3 turns, the other 3 turns -lot of running back and forth. Once on, seems fine and solid.
