Comments about BIG AGNES Air Core Rectangular Sleeping Pad, Petite:

I bought this Pad for a trip of 2 nights 3 days Backpacking and it held up great. I wanted something that was small, easy to pack, lightweight and comfortable to sleep on... Got that with this Pad. Although, I was disappointed on how noisy it was to use. Overall, great Pad.

Comments about BIG AGNES Air Core Rectangular Sleeping Pad, Petite:

I'm currently in that awkward part minimalist/part comfort driven backpacking phase, so I have a slightly mixed review on this pad.

First off, I love that it packs so tiny and light inside my pack, leaving the outside bottom straps of the bag available for my tent if need be. It doesn't take very long to inflate either. I'm more of a warm weather camper myself, so I don't mind that it's not insulated like some of the more expensive pads out there.

My biggest con is that it is ridiculously noisy to sleep on. When I'm by myself, it's not a big deal. But when I'm sharing a tent, I feel bad because everytime I reposition, the sleeping bag rubbing against it is obnoxious to listen to. I have tried it with a bed sheet over it, and it totally takes care of the noise factor, but I'm not going to pack a bed sheet on most backpacking trips.

I'm 5'3" and an athletic build, and this pad (the petite size) juuust fits. Although when I lie on my stomach with my arms under my pillow, my feet hang off the end. I wouldn't call it uncomfortable to sleep on, as I don't wake up with a sore aching back. But there's not really any rolling room here. But this is all to be expected with a nice tiny compact backpacking pad.

So if you're a comfort camper, I'd say this probably isn't the pad for you. But if you're looking for something lightweight, and just comfortable enough- this pad is relatively fantastic.

Just started using it. So far I like it. Best night sleep I have had in a tent yet. A huge upgrade from foam sleeping pads.
