Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Deluge Rain Jacket, 2013:

I work as an outdoor educator in New Jersey and Maine, often in the rain. I absolutely love this jacket. I've worn it in short downpours and all-day steady rains without getting wet. The only place the jacket has leaked is into the front pockets, so I usually don't keep anything important in them. I've been thrilled with the performance of this jacket.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Deluge Rain Jacket, 2013:

All the features I wanted except that the fit is poor-the body has no shape at all- it's cut like a box. I am 5'7", 120 lbs. and bought the size M. The sleeves are short and the body is too large. I have not had this problem with other EMS jackets. I really wanted to like it, but had to return it because it is just to expensive to not fit properly.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Deluge Rain Jacket, 2013:

It's just as nice (or nicer) than other-brand Gore-Tex Paclite jackets I've seen, and at a better price. And this one has a 2-way zipper (a big plus) and pit zips. My normal clothing size is XS, but a S fit better in this jacket. It's roomy enough for layering, but even over just a T shirt it doesn't look too big. The length is good, including the sleeves (I'm 5'4" 110 lb). The only thing I would change is make the white Gore-Tex lettering on the sleeve smaller and less obtrusive (and not white), because at ⅜" tall and 2" long, it stands out too much.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Deluge Rain Jacket, 2013:

I ended up returning this jacket because I didn't like the way it fit me. I ordered a size medium, I am 120lbs and 5'3" with an athletic build. I found the shoulders to be to tight and the waist to big, with the lenghth of the jacket to short. The jacket looked and felt good though, I am sure it would be great for hiking and backpacking as it packs very small and is light weight.
