SUP Race Training
LINCOLN WOODS STATE PARK
Stand Up Paddle Board Racing is one of the fastest growing disciplines within this dynamic new sport. If you ever wanted to try SUP Racing, our clinics and weekly fun races are a fantastic way to do it! Our Thursday night race clinics will focus on honing your SUP stroke for maximum efficiency, mastering pivot turns and transferring power to the paddle. At the end of each clinic we will run a timed buoy race and track your progression throughout the series. As your balance, fitness and technique improves you will see improving race times and improved confidence. For some it will be a great way to stay in shape during the race season and meet fellow athletes and competitors. For others it will be a great way to try one of these new displacement hull BIC Wing SUP boards and explore its virtues. Either way, you will discover you are traveling farther and faster than you were on your traditional boards and skills. At the end of each clinic we will get a chance to to race the course against the clock and enter these times into the Bic Race Series Competition.
