Comments about JULBO Explorer Camel Sunglasses:

The feel of wearing sunglasses usually bothers me, but these do not.

Only two things could make them better: (1) there is a small hole straight below each eye (if you cannot usually see your own lip, your cheeks are probably large enough to cover this / anything worn to shield the nose and cheeks from sunburn would likely do the same); and (2) the included Julbo cord is too short to get the glasses (the temples) in front of your ears (not really a big deal, I guess).

As of yet, I have not noticed the photochromic property making much of a difference (lenses are "dark" either way), but I think the extra cost is worth it just to upgrade glass to NXT.

Comments about JULBO Explorer Camel Sunglasses:

I found it fits the bridge of my nose well, as well as my temples and eyebrow ridge. It seats snugly and does not allow much peripheral light in. The polarization of the tint allows me to keep them on in nearly all conditions, a very hassle free plus. They are lightweight and comfortable, and the moldable arms allow them to be fit to nearly every oddly shaped head, including mine. The only downside I've found is my pair has a very very slight tendency to fog up occasionally with a large exhaled breath, but that's partially due to what layers I have around my head and neck, and it very quickly evaporated. Bottom line is we originally had two pairs of the Spectron 4s in black, but find the polarized 2-4 camel tint to work extremely well in bright high UV glacier conditions and mountaineering, so now we each have pairs of these as our first choice.

Comments about JULBO Explorer Camel Sunglasses:

Had these sunglasses for 6 years. Probably wouldn't have kept them for so long, except that I had ordered them in my prescription from a different website. These were my only sunglasses until I finally replaced them last week. They offer amazing protection, completely shielding your eyes, just like glacier glasses are supposed to. The side pieces on mine were removable and mainly unnecessary.
