Comments about MARMOT Men's Tempo Jacket:

I disagree with the previous comment, this is the best fitting jacket I've ever had. i am a rock climber with a slim muscular build and jackets never fit me right. i was so pleased with marmot when i got this and was able to get a small and not have the sleeves and body too short. if you want short and fat jackets go wear Patagonia. This jacket was designed with climbers in mind and is cut so that they wont expose their wrists and backside during activity!

        sleeves are *extra* long

Comments about MARMOT Men's Tempo Jacket:

i bought a Tempo in 2011, and i loved it. then i lost it while backpacking in Europe. i purchased this one to replace it.

i don't know what happened in the last year, but the sleeves are *extra* long, even for a Small size. i don't consider my body type to be totally normal, but these sleeves are at least 6" too long and probably 2" too long for normal folks.

it's wearable, but i look like a fool.

        • Athletic fit
        • Lightweight Jacket
        • Repels water
        • Stretchs
        • Surprisingly warm
        • Wind Resistant

        Cons

        • Long sleeves

        Best Uses

        • Fall jacket
        • High Intensity Activity

Comments about MARMOT Men's Tempo Jacket:

Jacket is very thin and uninsulated, it works great in the 40-60F temperature range. Athletic fit limits layering(max is a thin fleece for me or else arms are too tight), but would switch to a warmer jacket for temps below 40F anyway. Sleeves are long, but I like it as it doesn't expose wrists when reaching, just be aware of it when purchasing. Water beads off of it and it blocks the wind fairly well. Great fall/spring lightweight jacket overall and I would recommend it.

Comments about MARMOT Men's Tempo Jacket:

I owned and loved this jacket previously but lost it earlier this summer, unfortunately. The new Medium size would fit a giant. I hate your "vanity sizing" EMS!

Comments about MARMOT Men's Tempo Jacket:

The fabric is excellent - great mobility and stretch, and it blocks the wind very well.

The problem is the weird cut. It's way, way too long in the body, tight in the shoulders but loose around the middle, and the arms are about 2 inches too long. I'm 5'10" 190lbs and I've worn size L in Marmot gear before and had no issues. This jacket is simply weird.

On the upside, I returned mine and EMS gave me a full refund.
