No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I was looking for a compact, roomy pack to replace an old one for day hikes over rugged trails. A friend had experience with North Face packs and recommended them. Unfortunately once I received my Mejor pack I immediately disliked the fit. I am an average to tall build, but the womens medium was completely wrong. I returned it to EMS and was helped into a beautifully fitting Osprey Kestrel. Thanks for the great service on the exchange!
