Pros:
Easy to read, Great Overview
Best Uses:
Hiking, Route map, Trip planning
Great for planning hike logistics (e.g. how to get there, where to park cars), and also as a town/route finder and overall map of the region for non-hiking purposes.
Not good as a hiking map per se, bulky to carry and not detailed enough (i.e. wrong scale for a hiking map).
