The ones I got from this site were rubbery compaired to the plastic ones I have purchased before. I do not know if they take on the taste of the liquids put in them, but I do know that the plastic ones don't. The important thing is that they keep the front of your shirt dry when drinking out of the wide mouth bottles.

This is an essential complement to the bigger Nalgene wide mouth water bottles. From experience it is impossible to drink neatly from one of those bottles without spilling. This solves the problem. I use this for bringing some water along on outings and travel in Manhattan and business.

You don't get drowned when you drink from your nalgene bottle and drive at the same time.

great for while you are in school or on the run so you are spending less time with water on your shirt
