I bought this for my husband's first father's day. It was super easy to figure out how to use. Within minutes he had our 5 month old in it and on his back. We went for a short hike (up and down a few steep terrains and throughout the trip, he made some minor adjustments to it. My hubby usese the mirror to check our our daughter smiling throughout the hike. The storage space is great and we love how you can remove whichever bags necessary. I opted for this one since it has the rain hood thing, which is around [$] if bought separately. The lower model doesn't include this so it would've ended up about the same amount.

Belt sits too low on hips, Child shoulder straps rub

Better than expected. My son falls asleep everytime we go for a walk. He loves the view from up there. Even though he's 20lbs. now, it still feels light to carry. I wish they made one for me to be carried in!

This is our second pack. The first was destroyed on a airplane by the baggage handlers. Our Children are usually fussy but when they are up there they love it and they are quiet.
