I have an 8 month old son who was getting bored with his stroller. My husband and I had been pricing the Kelty carriers for a while and found this one for a great price! We love it and can't believe we waited so long to buy one. My son loves to be able to see everything, and is so much more comfortable.

I'm happy with the Kelty Tour. The first time I used it, I had my 10-month-old son in it for two hours and he enjoyed it. The Tour is easy to use and comfortable to wear for a couple hours at a time.

I used to use a jogging stroller, my daughter was okay with that but didn't last very long. With her on my back she is content much longer, I am 6'-5" she loves being able to look around, she can see everything that is going on. Great workout for Dad too!!! Put 30 lbs on your back and hike around for a few hours once. - I recommend purchasing the stirrups for your child's feet. Without them, their legs just dangle in the air. The stirrups are not standard with the Tour child carrier. It would be [$] well spent.

Light, strong, reliable and easy to work. A great backpack overall. If I had to name a weakness -- and I'm reaching for a weakness -- it would be that the pack doesn't really breakdown so it must be stored pretty much "as is."
