I'm not a huge adventurer, I just needed a way to get my 12-month daughter on a few short hikes on a camping trip. The transit fit the bill nicely. At first, she didn't like it, but once we got moving she was fine. THe best thing about the transit is that for the price, the adjustability is amazing. The worst thing is that I don't think it is comfortable enough for kids to get a good nap in. But all in all, a pretty good value if you are looking for something for city use or short hikes. The backpack is nice because then you don't have to use a separate bag.
I exchanged my Kelty Wonderer for this backpack after traveling with the cumbersome full-frame overseas. I love this TC 2.0 model, but it doesn't feel like it has as much back support as the full frame. Both my husband (6') and I (5'7)had some weight on our shoulders while hiking, but it could be we didn't have it adjusted completely right. All in all, for those who tend to take the backpack with them (especially on airplanes), I highly recommend it.

This pack is a much better choice than the T 1.0 its worth the extra money. It holds a larger child. I had the bag packed with all my carry ons and my 24 lb daughter, and I hardly felt the load. The pack and the seat are both adjustable so its comfortable for a wide rage of sized parents and kids. Its much better than the large frame carriers for travel, and it fits under the seat infront of you on a plane. I use this instead of my stroller when I travel. You won't regret this purchase.
This is an exceptional product and exactly what I was looking for. Baby loves it and is comfortable for extended periods. Product changed my life from pushing a stroller down the street to being an explorer again.
