This is primarily used for zip lines. It is a great, durable pulley and it is fast! It is easy to use and it is very strong. It has been used on over 5 miles of 10mm tyrolean rope and the bearings are just starting to break in. What an incredible product. Petzl does it again!!

My favorite new toy, my petzl pulley, has been in use for 2 weeks now. My son loves riding his zip line and so does my daughter and who am I kidding so do I. This is a fantastic product and the customer service and transaction was flawless.

I am using it on a zip line - 5/16 cable. I wonder about the pulley wheel wear with this thin of a cable, it is already leaving some marks. I am thinking about going up a size to distribute the weight more. I am using it mainly with children 50 lbs and lighter with a hard stop. I haven't really found a brake I like.

I built a backyard zip line and purchased pully after pulley and they all failed to do the job. Then I found this pulley online[...] The Pulley is being used on a 150' zip line(cable) and it performs like no others. The double pulley system balances the weight on the pulley and the ball bearings and pulley are heavy duty and are pefect for use on cable.

I purchased this tandem speed pulley for use on a 1/4" stainless steel cable zip line. We ran 225' of cable from tree to tree with approximately 10' of elevation drop on the cable at the tree connection points. Even the adults love zipping down this new neighborhood toy. Both the cable and the pulley are well rated at more than any adult could weigh. Too much fun!!!!
