The Wiz Kid is a great kid's harness. The Speed buckles are easy for them to operate and don't need to be doubled-back, like on some adult harnesses. In fact, I switched from the BD Momentum AL harness to the Momentum Speed for this very reason. My 8-year-old son loves his Wiz Kid for toproping and gym climbing, and my daughter is getting her own harness for her 11th birthday. (She's only about 75lbs.)

The Wiz Kid Harness is the best kids harness out there. It's easy to use, easy to put on, and easy to adjust. The best part is that it fits a pretty wide array of sizes. I have two 7yr olds, a 4yr old and a 3yr old and it fits them all.It also looks cool, which believe it or not is even important to the 3yr old!

this is my son's first harness, and couldn't ask for a better beginner's harness! however he is 12 years old but kind of skinny so don't let the age limitations deter you.
