I returned the product after purchasing because the size was a bit misleading. The harness appeared to be of the best quality. Great price. I was sad to send it back. It would be difficult for a big guy to put this on over a down suit.

As a first harness you can't beat this one. Especially for a guy my size (250 lbs) I was a little leery about if this harness could hold me but after multiple falls of 10+ feet with out a problem I'll never doubt this harness again. This harness is comfortable to hang in which comes in hand when you get stuck on a route and need to take a break. My friend with Black Diamond's Momentum is jealous of all the places I can put quick draws or anything else I would need. All around great harness, especially for people my size.

BD redesigned this harness and the design is a lot worst. With the old one youcould actually use the ice clippers and the gear loops, with new one the gear loops are one next to another one without any space in between, therefore you have to put the ice clipper in the middle of the gear loop which does not allow you to efficiently use both. If you dont plan on using ice clippers the harness is highly recommended, but if you do....different regular harnesses actually work a lot better.
