Pros:
Comfortable, Intelligent design, Lightweight
Cons:
none
Best Uses:
Hiking
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have used this pack for day hikes and with about 8-10 lbs. of gear I don't even know it's there, it's that comfortable. The are plenty of compartments to keep your gear separated and within easy reach. The Iso pack is very adjustable. This pack has all of the features you could want in a daypack.

need a little more room
By rick the quickVerified Reviewer from york PA on 9/16/2007
Pros:
great design, Lightweight, Rugged
Cons:
Small Compartments
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational

I love the waist belt and overall design of this bag, especially its lightweight quality, but wish the two main compartments were one space. When I get my filled camel in, there is not quite enough space for my other gear. Making the two compartments be able to merge into one would be great.

Perfect for airline carryon, and after!
By JudyVerified Reviewer from Greene, Maine on 8/1/2007
Pros:
Convenient compartments, Fits under plane seat, Handy belt pockets, Lightweight, Rugged, Spacious
Best Uses:
Air travel, For changing weather, Indoor, Mixed uses, Outdoor
Describe Yourself:
Air traveler, Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I needed a light pack for an air carryon, but one that I could use every day after i arrived in Newfoundland. The weather changes a lot, so it had to hold a goretex parka, fleece, rain pants, hat, gloves, binoculars, plenty of water, food. I also needed a "real" pack with a good waist belt and sternum strap, to hold up to miles of hiking. The same pack would be my "bag" around town. The ISO was perfect--able to be compressed or stuffed full as needed. The handy zip pockets on the waist belt were a lifesaver--kept the digital camera, and glasses, easy to grab at a moment's notice. Perfect!

My wife and I each bought one of these packs for a trip to New Zealand. We were both very happy with them. They are very lightweight, comfortable to carry and have a surpisingly large capacity.

great pack but not what I wanted
By Mr.WVerified Reviewer from Kent, CT on 11/7/2006
Sizing:
Feels half size too small
Pros:
Good Padding, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity
Best Uses:

This was a great bag but I was looking for something a little smaller. I ended up returning this pack for the smaller gregory reactor which I have not stopped using everday since I got it.

Nice Pack...Not for Women
By GunkFunk06Verified Reviewer from NJ on 10/4/2006
Pros:
Good Padding, Great waistbelt, Large Capacity
Cons:
Not built for a woman
Best Uses:
Day Trip, Hiking

I ordered this pack for use as a daypack for climbing/hiking. Very light. Seems durable. Perfect size (for me...I'm about 5'3" and slim). Great waistbelt. But it's not built for a woman. The straps come very far in across the chest making the pack uncomfortable and unbalanced when weighted. Would be a great pack for a guy or a small busted woman.
