I took these shoes on a 2.5 month backpacking/climbing trip and was really happy with them. I was bouldering, sport climbing, and doing some multi-pitch. They worked great for all of the above and were super comfortable. I would recommend buying them a half-size smaller than initially feels comfortable because they do stretch. Not an aggressive shoe, but the rubber is unbeatable, the laces let you cinch them down tight, and they work all-around.

I'm a guy who wears women's shoes because I have slight feet. I can't speak much to the comfort level since I should've bought them bigger.the biggest con to this shoe is that it stinks like hell after many uses. I've taken other shoes on many pitches of climbing, and while they've gotten musty, these take the cake. they also become slimy on the inside such that there is significant slippage when smearing. not very comforting on a run-out slab pitch. but the shock cord makes for a quick lace-up, so you can take them off quickly between climbs when sport climbing.the rubber is quite sticky. the tip isn't aggressive enough for tough sport climbs but is very well suited to moderate terrain.I got these on sale for [$]and still regret buying them on account of the rankness and sliminess factor.

i was very excited when i bought this pair of shoes. but after a few trips bouldering outside i was no longer as excited. the shoes are great for long climbs...preferably indoors. they fit well but still have a tendency to slip when heal or toe hooking. and the sharp edges disappeared after three trips outside. it's a good shoe...it just wasn't all that i had hoped it would be.

These are a great all around shoe, they break in nicely, and don't stretch too much. They are fairly comfortable, although the loop stitcking by the heels was a bit irritating when breaking them in.

Very comfortable but feels like they are stretching out a bit- Am able to wear them for a day at the gym/route climbing with no horrible blisters.

Would have bought half a size down if I had chance to do over.

I bought these shoes and I love them for their comfort and super stickiness. I have a wide foot and they're still not uncomfortable perhaps because they're lace up. However, after only about 10 uses the top lace eyelet on one shoe ripped clean through. [...]

Good sturdy climbing shoe
By CBVerified Reviewer from NYC on 9/25/2006
Comfort:
Breathes Well, Broken in, Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Cushioned Insole, Supple
Sizing:
Fit one foot too small
Width:
Fit true to width
Pros:
Lightweight
Best Uses:
Bouldering, Casual Climbing, Climbing Gym, Trad Climbing

The shoe is comfortable and a good shoe. The angled toe smushes my big toe pretty uncomfortably on one foot but, overall, they are a comfortable shoe. I even met a guy wearing them as he thought they were so comfortable!
