Fits great. Started suing the shoe for outdoor bouldering and some indoor climbing. I have probably used these shoes on 10 or so different occasions and the rubber is starting the lose grip. Last time at the gym they were slipping on holds that I had stuck on previously.

This shoe fits well for very long, very narrow feet. It would be good if they made a more advanced climbing shoe with the same fit, but unfortunately every other shoe I've found is either too wide or too short for my feet.

I have used the shoes for top roping, sport climbing, and bouldering. Although I have heard some people say it is not to good for bouldering I have done v7's in them. I have had mine for a year and put them through hell and they have held up pretty well.

These shoes are really comfortable and I like wearing them when I climb with a group at the gym and stand around waiting a lot -- its nice not to have to take off the shoes inbetween climbs sometimes. However, after climbing in these shoes for just two months, the ultrasuede upper split open and now the shoe is useless because its too loose to climb in. I'm disappointed that the shoes fell apart so fast -- in the two months I had them, I probably only climbed 10 times.

Eastern Mountain Sports Response:No climbing shoe should break down after 10 climbs. Our first priority is your complete satisfaction with your Eastern Mountain Sports® purchase.

Just got the shoe. Looking for a decent shoe to start climbing. Price was right. Fits good to size (a little tight like it's supposed to be).

These are my first pair of shoes. Initially they fit comfortably yet snugly. After maybe 3 times climbing one of the shoes fell apart in several places-- it must have been a manufacturing defect. I exchanged them for another pair of the same shoes. I've been climbing with those for the past 4 months, 2-3 times a week indoor and outdoor. They seem to have stretched quite a bit and now seem very sloppy. Perhaps I'm moving onto more technical stuff. At any rate, I think I've gotten my use out of these and I'm ready to move on to a better, stiffer, tighter shoe.

Because they are very comfortable and cheap, these shoes may be a good buy for beginners who are not sure how involved they will become in the sport.

I would have bought them smaller. They work really well once you break them in.
