the indented Xgrip logo on the bottom of the shoe (randomly placed on each shoe) tends to grab nubins and rip! I had to return the first pair after 2 uses for just this reason as the logo had ended up on the most used part of the sole (big toe area). This oversight in an otherwise flawless shoe is a real shame, but EMS was more than accomodating in handing the return.

Great trad shoe that can spend a day inside on bouldering routes and other gym climbing. They fit snug and comfortably and the heel cinch on the back helps keep your feet in for those tougher heel hooks. They are unlined leather so keep that in mind when sizing for you feet.
