Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Having only just used a pair of the Petzl Dragonflies (on Roaring Brook Falls and Chouinard's), I can not comment on their resilience to wear and water. However, their colors are vivid, the feel of the ropes are great, and the markings for the midway point and ends of the rope are clear. Also, the ropes were ready for use (no uncoiling issues). The only thing is I should have gone for the 70m lines for the additive benefit of linking pitches ([...]doesn't offer the 70m, yet).
