Great for both backpacking and car camping. Water boils fast & food cooks evenly. The nesting setup and stuff sack work well when throwing this back in your pack, even if the pot/cups are only moderately clean. Only Con is that they are a little awkward for drinking... so we stick to our Guyot squishy cups/bows for that.

Not much to say about this system, it's SUPER! It's a little bulky, but don't forget that it's for two. An 8oz. fuel canister will fit in side, or a 4oz. along with my stove head.

This is a great minimal pot and pan set. The only thing I was disappointed with was the bowls are hard plastic instead of that light weight silicone, the cover to the pan was a little akward and the sac is very tight. Otherwise the sac is great for washing everything with a good lining.

Good buy for the price.

I have used these pots and bowls on several outings and absolutely love them. They are easy to clean and you get four bowls two of which are nicely insulated (great for stews or soups). The only issue I have with this product was that it is tall and bulky so if your backpacking it may take up more room than you are used to. But because of all that you have in this kit your friend can save room and leave behind his mess kit so it can pay off in the end. Overall a great product. I liked that the lid to the pot had a strainer, very handy.

Love the pot w/ strainer lid. Bowls are great for mixing or eating; drinking are a little awkward. Stuff sack for everything is a bit snug.
