Used in combination with the pocket rocket stove. Great small set! If you need something were cooking full meals (not freeze dried) you might want something else. Perfect for the light weight backcountry traveler. Stove and fuel fit nicely inside cook set.

I took the SOLOIST on a three day backpacking trip and it work fantasticlly. It boiled water quickly and cleaning was almost unnecessary. And what was even better is that my fuel fit into the SOLOIST which helps maximize space in your pack. Awesome porduct!

I used the old "boyscout" type mess kit for 30 years until I saw this one. Any extra weight or space it takes up is well worth it. The pot is big enough to cook real meals and the combo cup/bowl is a great idea. The fact that my spork, dishrag, stove AND fuel fit inside is a great bonus! This is my favorite new purchase for backpacking and kayaking in a long time.
