Good thing we checked this out before heading to camp. Took it home and out of the box when the side clip broke off. Returning this item! Guess we should have checked it out at the store BEFORE we purchased. Another Scout lesson learned...

I really liked the clamp system to hold it all together. It is fairly light weight and the bowls are deep enough to hold your meal.

The NESTER’S mess kit brings back many Boy Scout memories. A great kit for the beginner, camper, or occasional user. Compact and durable, everything you need for single person cooking is nested together in one package. Careful, the fry pan may be tippy when using small burner stoves. Tip: Keep a bandana and a small bottle of soap in zip lock bag, tucked inside the cup to complete the kitchen set up.
