Great stove! Everything fits well within the pot, plus some extra room for, forks/spoons, lighter, towel, etc. I've heard of the top cover shrinking, but I've used my extensively as a pot lid and have not had any problems. Just make sure you flip the lid over and rest in on top. Don't try to "clip" in onto the pot like it packs up.
The only problem I've had is lighting the stove using the built in lighter. I wouldn't count on it. It's just as easy and usually faster to just flick a bic and turn on the gas.
Like any canister stove, it's tough to tell how much fuel is left. I've kept tally marks on the bottom of the canister with a sharpie. Once it's up near ten boils, I won't take it out on a trip, just grab a fresh canister. I'll use up the near empty canister while car camping, where packing up a few extra half empty canisters doesn't matter.

I've only used the Jetboil once on an overnight trip so far. We made pasta and the water boiled extremely fast and cooked very well.
I had a bit of trouble with the ignitor, but I may have just had the gas too low.

I have used this car camping and hiking and have had it for about 2 years. It is a great product! It is easy to set up, light, and boils water in no time flat. I have the 1.5 L pot and the companion mug (which is great for your morning java on the trail). Maybe a little expensive, but lets face it, you get what you pay for!

This is the exception that proves the rule. It does boil water faster than a microwave! I,m working on something light to stabilize it over a regular fire (with the neoprine off). The heat exchanger should work fine there as well. Have the Jetboil people call me.

This stove is half the weight of my old one and is extremely easy to use, puts out wicked heat.
