Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have tried to fit a 4 oz then a 3 oz fuel canister inside the kettle with just the stove (out of the hard plastic shell) and the cover wont fit tight. Other than that it’s a good stove for the money, unstable as I expected it to be.
