We purchased this for an eco conscious and useful fathers day gift for my husband. It might be his favorite gift of all time!
He never leaves the house without it. It doesn't look huge but holds plenty of coffee...he's a big coffee drinker so we would hear about it if it wasn't sufficient. It fits in the car cup holders. It keeps the coffee hot long enough without a problem. Plus, he likes that is looks really cool!
This is a perfect product and I highly recommend it to all the coffee drinkers out there.

I would not think twice about buying this mug. It's great for both hot and cold, keeping drinks at a desired temperature for hours. Buy without hesitation.

The only issue I have is that it leaks if there is no plug in the cap. I accidentally lost it in the drain while washing it. [...]

This mug easily fits in any purse, tote, briefcase, etc., and NEVER leaks. I wanted a compact, stainless steel travel mug, and this fit the bill. You must unscrew and remove the top in order to drink, which some might find objectionable. But that's a slight trade-off for no leaking.
It keeps tea and coffee hot for hours (haven't tried it with cold beverages yet). The metal edge is not uncomfortable to drink from. Cleaning is easy, as the inner surface does not hold odors.

I use the second cap (mentioned before)as a pressure-valve, allowing ease of opening even if the contents are extremely hot or cold.
I can throw this in my bag and bike to work with no problems with leaking, and unless I leave it open to cool it will still be too hot to drink after more than three hours.
Elegant but unclear how the top works.

The purpose of the black metal lid that screws out of the grey thermos cylindrical top is unclear. Are you supposed to put the metal lid on top of the mug without the grey top? The black lid fits very loosely and there is no way to secure it to the mug. Having metal which is conductive against your mouth while drinking a very hot liquid seems like a bad idea.

Pros:
Lives up to its promise
Cons:
Tough to wash (narrow)
Great product. The only negative thing I can think of is that it is difficult to wash b/c it is narrow, especially since it tapers to the bottom. Otherwise, I love the product, and actually own several.
