Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
shoes amazed me by being lightweigh with stability and stiffness of a roadshoe but great rubber grips, breathability and tough exterior for slippery slopes and mud and muck. I use them on both my mountain and road bike, for commuting and hard rides.
Clipping in, road shoes always slipped on pavement and at stop lights, these are a great security.
First got them and thought they were too tight, stretched to accommodate my foot after the first long ride.
