One of the first steps is to measure out the distance between the two supports with pads, which can be a bit tricky. Other than that, the instructions were pretty easy to follow. I use hatch hooks with this rack and they were a piece of cake to switch with the trunk mounts. This bike rack is great for me, now I don't need to fold my seats down everytime I want to go for a ride. This rack holds two mountain bikes just fine, and the folding arms are great when you don't have bike on. Overall, great product and would definitely recommend it.
