The Techwick material does not really tear but it gets caught on anything and you will not know it until after the fact. Looks awesome and does its job. I would recommend this product only for its intended use. It needs to be covered up to prevent wear and tear.

I wear techwick more than any of my other shirts. The comfort can't be beat in any activity. Even when layered, the fit is light weight and my body temperature is comfortable. I have found that over time the material does seem to shrink a bit.

this is an excellent technical shirt. It also looks very good. The fit is snug, not small, which I guess is a matter of taste; I love it. IT wicks extremely well both under a fleece in the wonter and by itself in summer. Feather light, great to pack.
Probably the best technical shirt I have, and gott'em all, I have o admit...
My bottom line advice: get three.
Wicks well, but fabric wears very fast

Fabric pulls very easily, Fabric wears very poorly, Wears easily

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
After only a few careful wear and wash cycles, the fabric is riddled with pulls and runs and looks very scruffy indeed--very poor performance from a shirt in this price range. To be honest, I’m really rather disappointed.
The fabric is very comfortable, and wicks very well indeed: keeps you dry even hiking fast in hot humid conditions, but it begins to disintegrate very quickly.

Great fit and moisture transfer. Works great for layering over SS techwick for some extra warmth. I wore it under a breathable softshell for <30 Degree weather and it was great! The shirt is slightly pull and run happy, watch out when off trail it doesn't get snagged to bad.

This shirt feels great; I'm looking forward to wearing it out (if it's possible). The sleeves are a little long, and since they don't have elastic cuffs you can't push them back up your arms.

This long-sleeved item is a welcome addition to my Techwick collection. It's been great on fall days as a first layer in the morning's coolness and then as my only layer as the day warms up. It's comfortable during both work and idle times.

Pros:
Better than Capilene, Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight
Cons:
Somewhat unusual color

Techwick is easily my favorite brand of performance fabric. I have Capilene and Coolmax shirts and I prefer the Techwick shirts, because they seem more breathable, dry quicker and are usually more affordable.
