Collar seemed durable and looked great. My only complaint was that there was a slightly rough spot on the inside of the collar on end seam of the nylon strapping (possibly from being heat-cut) that I thought may irritate the neck of a very short haired dog (I have a weimaraner and have had this happen with other similar collars). I doubt this would be a problem for a dog with a thicker coat.
