I bought this GPS specifically to geocache. My six year old grandson is learning how to use it without a problem. It is performing just the way I wanted and is great fun. I sure I will be expanding my use of it.
I originally bought a competitors brand but the geocache website did not support it, nor did it support Windows Vista. So I had to go with the Garmin. Otherwise I liked the other one better.

The handheld it a really nice unit but the written directions for use are pretty bad. Especially the use of the interface between the computer and online downloads of waypoints and information. You pretty much have to figure it out on your own. I also don't like the handles waypoint and geocache information it is a bit disorganized.

We used it for our first trip and first hike already.
