I read about this light in a column in Outdoor magazine where they asked ultra runner Dean Karnazes about his running gear. I took Dean's advice and got this light to use for my first 100-mile ultra. My pacer had the same light along with our headlamps we were well prepared. It's the best light you can buy for the price

Best flashlight I've ever owned, Well worth the reasonable price. I just wish you could turn it on & off with one hand. I also wish Princeton made a simple belt holster for it.

It's a great light. It would be perfect if the on / off was a "tactical style" rear button.

Good Flashlight

Pros:
Bright, Durable, Long battery life
Best Uses:
Hiking
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is a good, durable flashlight which provides plenty of light for hiking, running, or general use around the house. The 4 AA batteries last through a lot of use without much loss of brightness. I've had one of these lights for about two years with no issues. Just purchased two more as gifts. I'd highly recommend this light for someone looking for a long lasting light for outdoor activities or emergency use.
