You could argue giving it only 4 stars due to the price, but it really is a cut above. It's everything as described. I love the weather-resistance and was surprised how bright it is on the high-setting. To save on battery life, you can back off the rear cap to disengage the battery connection. I actually prefer hands-free headlamps for most applications, but this thing is great supplemental/increased lighting, especially at angles not obtained with headlamps. Probably not worth the money for occasional or casual use.
