I have had many different headlamps this one is by far the best. I am in the process of putting one on the helmet of all the members of the Morrisville Fire Deptartment in my hometown in Vt.

Don't get me wrong this is a good headlamp. However for a price [$], I can't say as though it's worth it. This headlamp lacks two things I belive it should have with a lamp of this cost. First it is not waterproof, secondly it should come with a spare bulb. Also the battery pack in the rear is a bit bulky and likes to shift around. There are brightness settings but no beam focus or adjustment. It is a bright lamp but I've used and seen much brighter lights for half the cost.

I ride many long distances bike races through the nite and also commute 40 miles each way to work, leaving at 4AM, in the dark. This allows me to see the skunks before I hit them!!!
Great addition to current lights.

I do a lot of climbing in North Conway and I have finally sucked it up and got one after talking to a bunch of people they said this was the way to go
