A very good camp lantern. Well designed. Weight-to-output ratio is good. Simple operation. Works well.
Recommended.

Bought the light for a trip to the Shenandoah Backcountry. Provided ample light in the tent or the camp sight. I didn't buy the rechargable system they offer, just some rechargable batteries (2300 mAh). had the light on for a total of about 5 hours with no decline in light output

Bought this to try as a replacement to my old candle lantern. Gives off a great deal more light than the old standby. Most impressive feature though... My two little daughters got ahold of it for an extended period of time, and it is still intact.
Drawbacks: Not even really a drawback, but it is bigger than my candle lantern. But hey, I told you it gave more light too!

This is a great little light ! Wish I'd had this thing >25 years ago when I first went to BWCA. Light output is about the same as a flashlight but it is 360degrees and can stand on it's own. Not just for camping but also for any other place/use you might conceive. Nice job, BD!

The Apollo is going to be the next big thing. It's small, light, and works well. If you camp you should get one of these. It's better then a headlamp because you won't leave your friends blind by looking at them. It will make cooking at night easy and no more falling your way back to the tent when it's time for bed.

its great lantern and gives off the amount of light you need. Its only around 50 lumens but because of that you get the longer runtime. The lense is lightly diffused & thats what makes that 50 lumens usefull. Helps even more that it dims

It would be a great light for in side the tent, but not the best for illuminating the camp. Much smaller then you would think. Over priced.
