Like that this is biodegradable. It's also liquid soap. That's it. It doesn't smell good (it doesn't smell bad either ... but after a hard days hike, a little something would go a long way!) It lathers so-so. I used it as body wash and shampoo/conditioner. And it made my hair go all stringy. Plus it burnt my eyes. There must be something else out there. I'll keep looking.
Eastern Mountain Sports Response:Althought I've always been a fan of Camp Suds...there is always Dr. Bronners as well...which comes in all kinds of flavors and varying aromas.

Works well. Only need very little to do the job. The bottle is much too big for shorter outings. I poured a little into a separate small plastic bottle which cut down on weight and bulk.

This stuff is guilt free and hassle free. After a week of hiking in the Andes, my feet were getting rough. I went to a river and scrubbed with Campsuds and they were almost as good as new. Doubles as shampoo and soap (slightly better as soap, but good overall). Refreshing and not messy.

Great little bottle for an outdoor enthusiast. I love to bring it to the gym as well as camping because the lid stays shut and contents don't leak out. As for the conditioning quality of the soap, it is poor so I usually end up bringing with me some lotion and/or conditioner. Bottom line, eco friendly and compact!
This stuff is perfect for backpacking.
