The first one we bought actually leaked - apparently it was cut on the seam at the factory. But true to EMS, they replaced it with no problem. It does have a slight plastic taste, but not enough to be a problem. It is rugged, easy to fill both in the sink, and with my Katahdin filter...

My wife and I both purchased the Waterslide daypacks. We use these packs a couple of times a year while hiking on vacation. This bladder came with the packs. On our third time using, the bladder of one of them came apart at the seam. Not a very good record in my opinion. And it costs [$] for a replacement?!?!?! Yikes. [...]

So far so good. No leaks where the hose connects to the reservoir. The 'Bite Me' drinking valve also works very well.

Leaves what ever liquid you use a funny chemical taste.

Great product, works as expected. You might want to invest in the insulator for the sleeve. I live in FL and the water in the tube heats up in the sun. Otherwise the water in the bladder stays remarkably cool.

hey! this is a great deal! you can pop off the front and clean it out just right and it's easy to fill. fits great with all of my backpacks. The magnetic clip works if you can get it to stay on...nothing a little duct tape won't cure.
