I took it with me to Thailand for a month, and it was excellent!
For such a small pack, it's very spacious, and still fit easily into my over packed big pack.
It's adjustable enough to be comfortable for both men and women.
Overall great purchase!
I used this pack for our canyon vacation (Bryce, Zion, and Grand). Since I'm petite, I needed something as light as possible, but large enough to haul the water, snacks, wallet, & emergency stuff for the family. I love the fact that the backpack itself is so light weight yet sturdy and is easy to unzip. Other daypacks I've ordered seem to be too bulky and heavy with zippers that are hard to unzip. The Nagalene hydration pack holds alot of water and stays cool all day when packed with 2/3 ice & 1/3 water. no leak problems. Only con is that it was harder to fill the Nagalene pack because the opening is half as small as the Camelbaks. The pivoting on/off switch on the bite valve was a nice surprise.
I use this pack for dayhikes, it's an ok size for me, could be a bit larger, but not for my hiking buddy who needs maybe triple the space. I would like to see a 3L bladder in a 1500-3000 in3 pack at a reasonable price. I like the insulation for the bladder very much.
We like to pack our own water and snacks for hiking, biking and camping. We really enjoy that this can keep our water cold and ready for all our fun, while being comfortable and not at all bulky. The pack has lots of compartments and room for gear like extra shoes and a jacket. While having kids, it allows us to pack all that we might need. We really love our hydration packs and would suggest them to all, for all kinds of activities.
Things that are great:
The large water capacity - we're hiking to bottom of the Grand Canyon!
Things that are not so great:
1. Lack of magnetic on the mouthpiece means the water pipe can flop around a little bit.
2. Not really enough storage for other gear - the ratio of water capacity to gear capacity leans a little toward the water.
Gave this pack to a friend and she loves it. Perfect pack for short hikes. The H20 remained cool for hours, flow was great, enough pockets, and easy to stash/access a shell of fleece. No complaints.
Used this pack in Zion where temps hit 120 but the water stayed cold. Water tasted great even the first time I used it. Bite valve is easy to pull water through without hassle. I was even able to keep my boots dry be sticking them in between the small pocket and main compartment when I hit knee deep water.

It is good for going on a short bike ride, but not large enought to carry everything for a full day hike.

I hike and am still a student. This is a great bag for day hikes as well as putting throwing in a binder or maybe a notebook as i go to class. since i also run alot having the liquid there on hand all the time really helps me keep hydrated. the bag looks small but you would be surprised how much stuff you can cram in there...and the quality construction allows you to do so.

Love it!. used it in Zion for 10 days and was the perfect size for day hiking. My friend wanted one and we tried to find one similar out there. She bought one but was not satisfied, liked mine better.

Though it doesn't look like it from its size, you can pack tons of stuff in it.
My wife enjoys this bag. With plenty of space for extras on a day hike and an insulated pocket for the bladder that keeps water cool (until its gone) in 90 degree Florida heat, this bag is great for the price.
