I have 3 of the SIGG water bottles. Two are the large size and this is the .6 liter. I use the larger ones to take to work or if I'll be out for the day but this one can fit in my purse and isn't as heavy (less water - duh!). The bottles themselves are very light weight and the graphics and colors really stand out. I love these bottles!!

This is my 4th Sigg purchase. I loved my first one that I keep at work, that I had to get one for at home, one for going up to the hunting cabin, and one for my husband. My hubbie was skeptical at first, but now he's a die-hard Sigg user as well - never leaves home without it!

I drive about 150 miles a day for my job and carry water with me. I replaced all my plastic based water bottles with a half-dozen SIGG bottles, and I couldn't be happier. The bottles are light, fit perfectly in the hand (or looped over a finger), don't leak from the perfectly fitting cap, retain cool temperature nicely in Summer heat, and keep my home-filtered well water as fresh and tasty as when it was drawn (no metallic taste). AND the designs are absolute works of art. I bang these bottles around pretty well, and so far I have no dents. I hear the liners can't tolerate freezing, so I'll throw a little insulated cooler in my car for Winter travel. The SIGGs are well worth the $$$. Highly recommended!

I love my Sigg bottles I have 3-1 liters, 1-.6 liters and 2-.3liters(i think). I drink alot of water and always carry 2 with me one in the car and I walk around with one. They are easy to carry I just loop my finger in the cap or stick in in the side of a diaper bag. My only problem is filling the bottles up(no big deal)I just tend to overfill it because it is hard to see the water level. I also wish there was some sort of cap holder you could buy so the cap could just stay with the bottle(I lose everything).

This water bottle is AMAZINGLY light weight, and holds more water than a regular old plastic bottle. It's better for you're health, your saving the planet, why WOULDN'T you get this thing?? lol.
When I first got it I washed it out about 3 times, then let water sit in it for a night and STILL the aluminum smell didnt go away! Oddly however it didnt smell when the water was in it, just when empty. The smell went away considerably after using it for my green tea, then nearly completely the second time. After a week no smell at all! So the reason it only got 4 stars is cause I had to wait, but was it worth it!...This bottle makes the water taste good somehow.
I saw it was made in Switzerland, so I knew it had to be good.

I jsut use the bottle in leiu of plastic bottles. I noticed that I was going through a lot of plastic bottles and, trying to be environmental, decided not to buy any more plastic bottles. So I got the SIGG and I love it. It's easy to fill up and keeps the water cold for a decent period of time. It's just a pain to have to clean it, whereas plastic bottles, I usually just used once and then recycled them.

Great bottle. Cap screws on well with no leaking. Good capacity with no after taste. Bought the bottle to replace the plastic bottles we own due to BPA concerns. Sigg website swears that there is virtually no BPA seepage from their bottles (confirmed by independent tests, so we gave 'em a shot. Very happy with the product.

Can't vouch for their durability in extreme conditions as we only put them through gentle usage - around the home, in the car and office.

I take the SIGG water bottle with me to work. I add ice cubes to the water. Even when the ice cubes melt, the water stays cool much longer in the aluminum bottle.

The bottle is easy to carry by the screw on top; just hook it through one of my fingers. It's also very light weight, even when it's full of water/ice.

I love the color and it's durability. I hope to have my SIGG water bottle a long time.

I rarely, if ever, buy or drink from bottled water. Mostly for environmental reasons, but also because I do have good tasting well water. Once my SIGG bottle arrived from you, I collected all the various plastic/rubber water bottles I had bought over the years and will give them away.

I had researched the SIGG bottles online and found they are very hard to find, if at all. So after finding a very few websites that sold the SIGG bottles, I found your store had the color and top that I wanted.... and at the best price.

Thanks for offering such a wonderful product. And when/if I'm ready to purchase another SIGG bottle (or accessories), I will certainly consider purchasing from you again.

I can not drink the water at work, so I would fill old water bottles and bring them in. Now, with all the information in the news about the re-use of plastic bottles, this product is a very smart purchase. I love my Sigg, absolutely no taste transfer, it doesnt taste like metal at all. I have used other metal water bottles, and nothing compares. The narrow neck really helps out when your trying to drink water while sitting in a van pool in constant NJ traffic. Other bottles with wide mouths, have completely soaked other van pool members, not only the person drinking from it, but people in the back seat too. I would not hesitate to buy any Sigg product.

I now own a total of seven Sigg bottles and use them daily. They're great for the water cooler at work, and I've noticed that when I keep one full on my desk, I don't have to think about whether I've had enough water for the day. I also like the loop top, as I just clip it onto a carabiner I've added to my purse, and I'm all set.

I bought two of these Sigg bottles to replace the Nalgenes that I'd been using for years. I now carry this bottle with me everywhere: in the car, at the office, out with friends, on my bike (it fits!). I even carry the bottle around at home -- it beats having to worry about the cat tipping a glass! A few of these comments might appear as 'cons' but they're just things to take note of -- things that took *me* some time to get used to: Compared to Nalgene, these bottles are tedious to open & close (*twist* 6 times!). As a result, I will leave the bottle open on my desk -- but later I wonder where I left the cap. Whoops! Water in these bottles comes to ambient temperature quickly (but I've never enjoyed ICE cold water anyway;). I tend to overfill the bottle since I can't see the water level. And it was a little odd to drinking from at first. The metal and the treads inside the mouth (for the cap) felt like I was drinking from a garden hose. Ha!The pros? There is no funky taste when drinking water from these, and the bottles stay very clean (no funky, musky smells). My Siggs haven't seen much extreme action but they are dent-free after a months' time :) Final take: a light-weight, artistically beautiful, leak proof and safe way to carry water with you. [...]

Eastern Mountain Sports Response:Try the Sport Cap... I love mine. It'll solve the twisting cap off 6 times issue...sadly it won't help with overfilling.

I ordered the 1L for myself and this one for my dog. It came to the point that I had my recycle bin full of plastic bottles (ewww carcinogens) and I knew there had to be a better alternative for our health & our planet. I love my bottles! But I have learned that you need to seal them tightly or they will open & soak everything. And when you seal them tightly, they are sometimes a bear to open. But that's hardly enough to deter me from using them! 5 Stars!

It sits on my desk, I'm not a camper, hiker or adventurer.....I like convenience, and it looks great too! Nice but dents easily
By Molly PVerified Reviewer from Madison, WI on 5/22/2007
Pros:
Doesn't affect taste, doesn't leak easily
Cons:
COLD touch wcld beverage, Dents, Doesnt fit std bike hldr
Best Uses:
Backcountry Camping, Day Trips
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer, Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It's a pretty decent product, but when I put cold beverages in it, it's painful to touch because it's so cold & the condensation makes it slippery. Also, will get serious dents with any little drop. Doesn't leak and is handy to carry though.

Sturdy, but small
By PersephoneVerified Reviewer from Upstate NY on 1/23/2007
Pros:
Good grip, Retains temperature well, Unbreakable

Overall this bottle is very high quality and your water doesn't pick up the plastic taste like many other water bottles on the market. However, this is a small bottle, if you drink the recommended 64 oz of water everyday you are going to need to refill frequently.
