Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I just bought is pack and used it on a three week backpacking trip through hostels, as well as a weekend climbing trip. It worked wonderfully and stood up to the toughest abuse. A lot better than my last pack which was a Jansport. Would definitely reccomend it to anyone.
