Use to get an Adirondack Packboat from the car to lake over paved, grass and gravel surfaces and works well.
The only drawback for this unit is the mfr did not go the one simple step further in the design to make permanent rings/loops or connectors for straps to tie down the canoe/boat etc.
Great little thing- I can now go wherever I want, and not have to wait for someone to go paddling with me so they can help carry my kayak to the water! Love it! It doesn't come with straps, but for short distances you dont need them (I have yet to use straps). Anyways, you don't have to buy extras, you can just use the straps from the car to tie it down to the paddleboy for more stability. Highly recommended!
Once you learn how easy it is to put together and strap on your kayak, and take apart and stow, it becomes effortless. Don't forget to purchase a load strap--get a longer one, like a 15' Thule load strap with padded buckle, so that you can wrap around several times if the terrain requires it. Otherwise a 9' or 12' should suffice for paved roads.

I would have given this 5 stars but it doesn't come with a strap to hold the kayak to it. On smooth surfaces its not a big deal but if your going over any bumps the boat will come off unless its strapped down. Overall though this is very good. Nice and light, breaks down easily and the big air filled wheels roll easily over anything.
