A good fly rod holder to mount on your kayak or small watercraft. Simple, seems to be fairly rugged. No hardware included, so you'll be making a trip to the hardware store to mount this.

I used this with my flyrod on a 16 foot sit-on-top kayak. Great to use for storing rod while trying to navigate around the lake.

We used these rod holders mounted on temporary decks we have fashioned to use on our Sea Kayaks.
The Rod holders are well designed - offering a variety of mounting options and angles to hold our fly rods securely, leaving our hands free to paddle/troll.
This rod holder does not work well with spincasting rods as has been suggested at some Kayak fishing web sites. Try the scotty Baitcasting rod holder for that purpose and let me know how it works :)
