Cons:
Offers Little Protection
I've had mediocre performance from this bag. It tends to collect moisture on the inside simply by being exposed to damp environments. On a recent paddling trip the entire bag was submerged for 30-60 seconds and it took in about two inches of water.
Eastern Mountain Sports Response:I am sorry to hear the bag did not withstand the minute it spent under water. It is supposed to keep its contents completely dry like its oversized brethren. I know I have in the past synched down my bigger dry bags hastily and therefore ended up with some wet clothes by the end of the day…so pilot error is possible. However…if that is not the case then you have yourself a defective little dry bag. Please feel free to return it to us or exchange it for one that does work. I’d experiment with the new one if you decide to try it again at home in the sink with something you don’t care about in the bag and I’d be curious to know what your results are.
