I bought two of these for our lake house. They are great for company and kids. Everyone can lift them, so they will not get left on the beach. Anyone can pull them onto an island so they are very practical. They are used by us on a large lake and work well. They are stable so no one falls out and they are easy to manouver.

I wanted my own watercraft that was light enough for me, a 38 year old single gal, to go on float trips with friends and their canoes. This is perfect! Light enough for me to put on/take off my Xterra, and a very comfortable seat for paddling all day. Great storage. I'm the envy of my friends!

Bought two of these after reading reviews online. I've kayaked a bit many years ago, but with me and the wife being early 40s, we wanted something easy to get around a fairly large creek system. We go out for a couple of hours at a time very happily. The boats are a little slow because they are wide, but they are easy to paddle, easy to get in and about, and great for guests who have never done this sort of thing before.[...]

I just bought my second Pamlico 100 at EMS while in Maine. Great little boat and I use them in salt water with fairly rough water at times. Recommend a skirt when in the rough water though. Rides the waves really well in onshore surf and better still in flat, calm waters. I love it for it's stability and maneouverability. Great for new paddlers just starting out. Great improvement with the drainage plug which the frist models didn't have.

Pamlico is a very good kayak for a beginner like myself. It tracks well in the water and is very stable. I've taken it out twice so far and loved everything about it. I would highly recommend this for anyone interested in taking up the sport.

I bought my Pamlico 100 last summer and enjoy it as a recreational kayak. I take it out on local lakes and use it for fishing. I plan on upgrading soon as I become more experienced and I know it will be another Pamlico product.
