I have been experiencing considerable neck pain and have been in physical therapy. The light weight coupled with the design have allowed me to paddle "pain free" for hours and miles at a time! Even in heavy winds the ultra-light paddle handles extremely well. Price is high, but worth it for me, as I would otherwise not be paddling.

The paddle is great for low style paddlers, but I am generally a high paddler who is using this for longer day trips and to learn the low profile technique. I feel that Werner's bent shaft and light weight carbon paddles are wonderful (I also have a Cyprus).

A good paddle for those who use a more low angled stroke. It is very light and you really reap the benefits on long multi-day trips, when everyone else is getting tired. I would definteley recommend this paddle, however don't pay more than [$] for it, there are many deals on the internet.
