Most dissapointed in a product I have been in a long time. Got these just before an Alaska multiday kayak expedition. The glove began to fall apart after ONE use. (Leaving me w/o gloves in 40 Degree water) The thread used to stitch the edges together literally disintegrated (it did not pull through the stitch holes). Very dissapointed in NRS, as most of their stuff is pretty good. Will think long and hard before buying any more of their products.

I know these gloves were made for kayaking, however my climbing buddy has a pair he wears on the ice. He swears by them. I wore these twice and the already split a seam. I have not checked into returning them yet. I would recomend them as long as my next pair hangs in more than twice.

This is my second pair of this type glove. The first pair split up and I am left holding only the left glove. The right glove is somewhere on a river. The gloves are light, flexible, and reasonably warm. I bought them for protection from rock bashing as well as blister protection. They work well enough protecting my hands from rocks, however I still developed blisters between my thumb and forefinger from gripping the paddle. I like the gripping ablity of the glove on an unwaxed paddle shaft. I won't wear these for really icy cold water paddling, for that I use the NRS Toaster mitts, but for most paddling from early May to early Novemebr in the Northeast, this is a really good glove.
