[...] it fits nicely and it's kinda cool how you can fold it up into itself and pack it away. And you can roll the hood up so it doesn't hang down behind you. I expect to be very happy with this jacket's performance.I bought this with the [...] intention of bringing them on a warm weather sailing trip. There, I'll have to pack light but need an outer layer for protection from water and wind and I think this [...] will be perfect.

Have used in many circumstances but I find it most useful in cold weather for high activity sports. I layer with fleece vest or jacket and nylon turtleneck for snowshoeing, nordic skiing, winter walks.
Not enough breatheablity for warm weather.

Bought this coat for my wife to replce an older raincoat. But she found it to not only be a great jacket to be worn as a raincoat but also as a top layer in colder weather. Would recommend this product for anyone who likes the outdoors.

I bought this jacket for my Daughter. She loves it. She mostly wears it casually. The only issue is that it shows dirt quick.
I am curious if regular washing would break down this jacket's material ?

I was skeptical about buying anything this thin and light as being truly waterproof. I recently returned from Indonesia where it is rainy season. The EMS jacket kept me dry.

At first, I wasn't sure I would like it, because I had a comparable marmot product for a few years, and really liked that one. I wore the EMS jacket in heavy rain last week, and I stayed dry, not too hot or sweaty -- so it really does breathe. The only thing I miss compared to the marmot is a flap over the main zipper to allow some air in/out the front when the zipper isn't needed.

This jacket is really great at doing it's job, keeping me dry and letting my body breathe. It is extremely light weight which is great for backpacking, but because the material is so thin I am always afraid that it is going to rip when I meet up with a sneaky branch on a trail.
I would buy this product again

Great rain jacket for all sport, especially hiking and golf. Like the longer length for good coverage in nasty weather.
