Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Bought this for my son. Based on measuring his head, he should have needed a MEDIUM, but we had to return that and get a LARGE. We like the snap in/out liner for warmth, although time will tell how robust the snaps are, they are kind of difficult to operate. Otherwise, it looks great, has great peripheral vision, and has the bonus that it will make a great summer biking helmet too.
