After a recent move to NM, I started skiing alot harder than I have in the past and took up snowboarding, so I decided it was time for a helmet. This helmet is great for pretty much anyone...it fits really well, and it is super easy to adjust if it doesn't fit perfectly right out of the box. Measurements were pretty true to size, I tried on a small which was slightly too small for me, but the medium fit perfectly. It has great ventilation and keeps my head both dry and warm (warmer than a hat even). And it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing a helmet, it's really lightweight and doesn't block peripheral vision at all. It also had removable padding and ear flaps, which will be great for warmer weather skiing, and it has a thing on the back to secure goggles, which actually make my goggles stay on even better. I can't even think of anything bad to say about this helmet...it rocks!

Love the helmet - but just getting used to it. . . needed to buy new goggles, though.

This is my first ski helmet, and after wearing the G9 I would never ski without it. It keeps my head warm and fits so well that I don't even know I'm wearing it. It is way more comfortable than any hat, and my Smith goggles work great with it. Also, if your head tends to be hot, the earflaps are removable and there are tons of removable vent covers. Only con is, on really snowy days, the snow piles up in the closed vents and can sort of seep through the vent covers, leaving the inside of the vent covers damp. I'm a 25 year old female and bought size small.
