Just finished a 10 day winter trip with this bag. I lived in snow caves the whole time so the bag did absorb some water and lost much of its loft. Dried in a few hours when hung outside in 8 degree weather with wind. Good, comfy hood and durable shell. Great loft when not wet. Next time I'll get a bivy sack.
This zero-degree is a very comfortable bag for the shoulder season. I was attracted to it in part because of the water-resistant coating, which I have not yet had to test (another reviewer said it kept him warm and dry during a long, wet trip). The engineering and overall comfort level are something I have never before experienced in a bag.

This product is finished nice, is well made and performs for me as stated .... slept out on open terrain, on a 0-5 degree nite ... felt comfortable !

I used this bag while in New Zealand just before winter. The rain pounded us for a week and a half. Th Nova kept me dry and warm even when the temperature dropped slightly under 0'F. It packed nicely and was never a burden to find a place for it in my medium sized backpack. This was a true performer. This bag will stay with me until it falls apart. You want a high performing bag while under horrible conditions-look no further.
